GET OVERDUE PETS UP-TO-DATE

Be a patient advocate and call clients within 30 days when their pets get overdue for preventive checkups.
Here’s a script to lead clients to book now: “This is <your name> calling for the doctors at <Your Veterinary Hospital>. <Pet name> is now overdue for his preventive exam, vaccines, diagnostic testing, and preventatives. We’re worried about his health. When can we see <pet name> this week? The doctor could see you at 6 p.m. Thursday or 9 a.m. Saturday. Which do you prefer?” Explaining that you’re calling for the doctors brings credibility and authority to the call. Lead clients to book with the two-yes-options technique rather than “Do you want to make an appointment?”
